• 600 pixels wide is definitely the maximum figure width for 1024 * 768 resolution, which is what we support. Figures need to be resized accordingly.
  • Finalize how to resize images based on review of issues 1 & 2; Need to draft author guidelines for figure sizes
• Rename "Issues in Digital Humanities" section of ToC? to: Issues in Humanities Computing (this has been fixed, but we need to make sure it persists when we move to production)
• Windows Vista / IE 7 Bug: Articles do not render (reported by Dennis Jerz, 8/15/2007)
  • John, Ashwini and I tested this. The layout problem is due to figures that exceed the 600 pixel

• Need J. Raben's piece (as of 8/20/2007)
• Update terras2007.xml based on new version available at http://polo.services.brown.edu/projects/dhq/publication/1.2/terras2007.xml (available 8/23/07)
• Include "notice" on DHQ Dev across top of pages and footer (this has been applied to the templates and the footer, need to mame sure this isn't copied over to production)
  • Perhaps include a watermark as well
  • Once Issue 2 is live, password protect Dev, and redirect entire Issue 2 directory to prod, issue 2
    • Will we replicate Dev, Issue 2 elsewhere so we can troubleshoot if necessary?
• Need bio/info for Jan Christoph Meister, Internationalization Editor; Need to update DHQ People page
  • Contacted Julia, 8/22/2007, for info
• Fix encoding issue in Dennis G. Jerz's bio: Associate Professor of English ? New Media Journalism. The question mark should be two dashes.

  • John, Ashwini and I tested this. The layout problem is due to figures that exceed the 600 pixel width. Ashwini will resize images from v1n1 and v1n2.
