The Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities is an applied think tank for the digital humanities, whose mission is to both further the excellence of the extended research community and cultivate its own innovative research agendas. MITH‘s research currently clusters around multimodal editions, digital tools, text mining, visualization, cyberinfrastructure, and the creation and preservation of electronic literature, digital games, and virtual worlds.
